I don't think there were any NVMe laptops when T440p was released. Not sure why you'd think it would be faster. Is it better to get a regular 2.5 SSD for this machine or will the M.2 provide faster throughput? Theoretically, the M.2 should be faster, but as I said, I can't find any details.
